Nutrition & Food Services Director

Director - Nutrition & Food Services

Job Description:

Performs the duties required to plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operation of the Food Services Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing our facility, and as may be directed by the Administrator, to assure that quality nutritional services are provided on a daily basis and that the Food Services Department is maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner.

Education: Bachelor's Degree required in Nutrition, Dietetics or closely related field

Experience Required:

1. Three years experience as a clinical dietitian required.
2. Three years experience in food services required.
3. Experience in a long-term care setting preferred.

Licenses/certifications Required: Registered Dietitian (RD) required with current Illinois license.

The primary purpose of this job position is to provide assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by supervisor.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required

Experience Required: One year experience working in a long-term care setting required.

2. CPR Certification Required
