ABOUT GREEK AMERICAN HEALTH SERVICE FOUNDATION

The Greek American Health Services Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the health and well-being of our community. Our mission is to conduct, sponsor, and operate programs and facilities that provide compassionate, high-quality care for the aged, the sick, and those in need of rehabilitation and related services.

As part of this mission, the Foundation is proud to support and oversee the Greek American Rehabilitation & Care Centre (GARCC) in Wheeling, Illinois. GARCC is a state-of-the-art facility offering long-term skilled nursing, memory care, short-term rehabilitation, and therapeutic services in a warm, dignified based environment.

The Foundation serves as the governing and supporting body, ensuring that GARCC has the resources, leadership, and vision needed to deliver exceptional care. While the Foundation provides the structure, oversight, and fundraising efforts, GARCC is the place where our mission comes to life—where residents, patients, families, and staff come together in an environment built on dignity, respect, and compassion.
