At the Greek American Rehabilitation and Care Centre in Wheeling, your well-being remains our top priority. We are committed to keeping you informed with the latest updates regarding our care and infection control measures.
Latest Update: We are pleased to inform you that there are currently no reported cases of COVID-19. However, please be advised that we have a few residents on our 2nd floor who have tested positive for COVID-19, placing us in an Outbreak Status. We are conducting ongoing contact tracing and infection control surveillance to manage the situation effectively.
While visitation is always permitted, we strongly advise the use of masks, particularly on the first floor, to ensure the safety of both our residents and visitors. For the 2nd floor, staff members are required to wear PPE, including masks and eye protection, to maintain strict infection control.
We kindly request that everyone remain vigilant in practicing infection control measures, including respiratory etiquette, social distancing, and masking throughout our facility.

COMPASSIONATE LOVE DAY CARE PRESENTS: TRUNCH OR TREAT PARTY!

Join us for a spooky and fun-filled Halloween event at **Compassionate Love Day Care**! Bring your little ghosts and goblins to our **Trunk or Treat Party** on Thursday, October 31st, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.** at **199 N 1st St, Wheeling, IL 60090.

We’ll have decorated trunks filled with candy, treats, and fun Halloween activities for the whole family. Kids can trick or treat in a safe and exciting environment while enjoying Halloween-themed goodies like cupcakes, lollipops, caramel apples, and more!

Costumes are encouraged, and we look forward to seeing all your spooky, silly, and creative outfits! Don't miss out on the fun – this is sure to be a memorable evening for children and parents alike.

The Greek American Nursing Home and the Hellenic American Academy are thrilled to announce their first-ever collaborative event, A Comedy Night. This special evening aims to raise funds for the quality care of our elderly and support the education of our future generations.

We are excited to feature renowned comedian Angelo Tsarouchas, a stand-up comedian, podcaster, and actor known for his performances on Netflix, Amazon Prime, Showtime, HBO, and in cult classics like "Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle" and "The Prince and Me." Angelo’s sharp observational comedy has made him a global sensation, with his social media reach surpassing 70 million people and still growing. The Greek American Rehabilitation and Care Centre hosted a Spring Into Fashion Show on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at Chateau Ritz in Niles, Illinois. It was an enchanting evening filled with delectable dining and a captivating display of beautiful fashion, courtesy of Zzazz Productions.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our Chair Ladies, Teddi Galanis and Terri Mikuzis, for their exceptional leadership, as well as to the Fashion Show Committee and David Baldwin of Baldwin Productions for orchestrating a truly fabulous show.
The funds raised from this event will greatly contribute to our various projects planned for 2024, as well as cover the expenses associated with providing the utmost care to our beloved residents. It's hard to believe that almost four years have passed since our last Gala, and we are deeply humbled by the overwhelming turnout at this event, especially during such a busy time of the year. We were thrilled to have over 350 guests come together and join us for an evening filled with Kefi, Agapi, and Glendi as we celebrated our anniversary.
